We want to ensure our cleaning standards meet (and exceed) guest expectations, which is why we have a simple and transparent system for calculating cleaning fees.

What's included in the cleaning fee

Our cleaning fees aren’t just about “wiping things down.” They cover:

• Professional cleaner time – our trained cleaning team prepares the property for the next guest.
• Laundry – all linens, towels, and bedding are washed and refreshed.
• Administration – coordinating schedules, quality checks, and replenishing supplies as required.

How we calculate the fee

We use a trusted formula that accounts for:

• Type of flooring
• Number of bedrooms and beds
• Property size
• Number of bathrooms and other rooms
• Any special cleaning needs specific to the property
• Plus many more variables.

This formula allows us to maintain a consistent level of service for every property, every time.

Hourly cleaning option

Owners can choose to pay for cleaning and laundry by the hour, but after extensive trialing, we’ve found it only benefits owners of large properties (4+ bedrooms) who use just one bedroom per stay. In most cases, the flat-rate cleaning fee is more cost-effective. But we’re happy to discuss this with you.
